Was curious – over time, I’ve watched many animals take mud/dust baths, but it always seemed like the lighter colored ones spent a lot more time/put more layers on – LOL – was wondering if coat/undercoat in dark/light, might be a ‘reason’ – so I asked what you had observed! Sure, the answer to such things exists somewhere – just seemed quicker/easier to ask ya, “what did you observe?” and add the ‘answer’ to my memory banks – until day I have nothing else to do but spend 14 hours researching/reading on the topic – LOL

That is so cute – a buddy bath. 😁 Nice to see there is still enough water in the ponds to accomodate a dip!
Oh my, they are really into it!
So fun to watch them enjoy the water. 🙂
Love it !
They definitely get into mud-making and splash-production! 😉
Getting their beauty treatment!
Ha – YES! 🙂
Curious….Did all of them do a mud bath or just the light colored ones? 😀
Not all of them actually laid down, but even the darker horses got into the splashing. 🙂

Agreed about the water. It won’t stay that way long, I’m afraid. … Nice to see it while it lasts! 🙂
Love the bathing beauties!!!
Me, too. 🙂
