Pretty, wise Mysterium surely looks forward to spring, even with snow lingering in the background.
Slowly but surely, bits of green are starting to appear. Soon enough, there’ll be no snow, coats will be slick, water will be scarce and temps will be rising beyond comfortable. Temps already are approaching 70s, which, right now, feel pretty darn good.
We’ve had temperatures almost hitting 90! Three record breaking days! This morning it started raining. Not hard just light, but I’ll take it.
Wowza! I’m glad you’re getting some rain. Even light rain is moisture (I say that to myself here all the time!)!
Back here on the East Coast – this morning it was 10 & blowing snow – very little on the ground but windy & cold. Last week it was almost 70 a couple days. Hope by April (this Friday) I will be able to uncover my flowers – they already are visible – green, that is. Supposed to rain in next few days – if it warms up enough!
Feel free to send your snow west. We hopefully (!) have some rain coming. It can’t get here soon enough. Bits of green are springing up. We need wet stuff to keep it growing!
Crazy weather,indeed!
Nothing is normal anymore.
Hello Mysterium๐

๐
We’ve had 71 here in the San Luis Valley. It’s a little shocking. I hope we all get at least one more snow.
Wild. I was through the San Luis Valley about a month, month and a half ago … and it was minus 22 with a “feels like” temp of minus 33. I bet you’re enjoying the 71 temps better! Here’s to some snow or rain – any kind of wet stuff – for all of us!
Between us, I prefer the deep cold. When I first moved here people kept warning me not knowing they were just making sweet promises ๐ But you know we take what comes.
It does sound like Spring is springing out there, TJ! Can’t wait to see it. Mysterium’s mane looks like it’s had a nice comb in prep for her picture!
It always seems like a slow start … and then bingo! It’s here! Ha. Today: Very definite little green buds on the greasewood. That’s the sign. ๐
Rain today, yeah!
