Sundance and one of his new mares drink at a pond with the day’s last light glowing on them. Look closely, and you can see his mane draped over her neck as she’s drinking from the same hole in the ice at the edge of the pond. 🙂

one of my fave pics captured by a friend, is two of her horses, grazing nose to nose, in a pasture, against the storm coming in from the west – – you immediately see the ‘naturally drawn’ heart – by the horses doing what they do and the layers of cloud colors – – i sometimes go back and look at that pick and think, ‘love and hearts show up all the time, even when those creating them didn’t do it on purpose or with intent – ” LOL It was just a moment in time, that got captured, brilliantly! 😀 Sort of like the pics you post…! ❤
Agreed, and it reminds me of a pic I just took the other day … a “heart” drawn in the snow by some unknown force? Doesn’t seem to be mouse/critter tracks, but I don’t know what did it. Thanks for the reminder! I’ll post that with another pic soon.

My heart about melted when I saw them like that, his mane over her neck … ! I took a similar one more recently of Buckeye and two of his new girls pressed against him on either side, drinking from the same little spot. He just looks so content. 🙂 Sundance is such a lover, and I’m glad he has more than one mare to love on now.
