The snow that didn’t stick in Spring Creek Basin or lower Disappointment Valley DID linger on the higher ridges, including Temple Butte and McKenna Peak (not pictured in this image).
All moisture is good moisture, and we were plenty happy to get rain down-valley.
And remember the views of the Glade, where the trees were golden?
It has gotten a little snowy and grey up there now. 🙂

They’re comin’! I’d say they’re still in their light jackets so far, but that is changing as the overnight temps are getting down to freezing!

What a beautiful place to live! We’ve had three snows on our mountains so I think it’s there for good. Last night it snowed here for about 10 minutes and I stood outside in it for 7. I love snow beyond reason. I even moved up to the mountains outside San Diego so I could have snow at least twice a year. Good snow, too, serious blizzards and good skiing.
Oh, yes, it really is. 🙂 I love snow for itself … and especially for the green it means come springtime!

I do, too, but “they” are talking about another La Nina winter, which means warmish and dryish. … Still, I like to be optimistic!
