So it looked a little like this yesterday. 🙂
It’s hard to say how much snow we got. Between a couple of inches and a few. Every tiny tenth counts big when we need it as much as we do. As snow fell lightly most of the day, it also melted into the desperate earth. The really great thing is that there’s still a blanket of such-needed white stuff all over our world.
Also wonderful in the white-stuff department: The major fires burning in Colorado right now also received some relief in the form of snow.
Best news in a long time for the basin and northern Colorado. It must be beautiful there now 🙂
The very best news, and yes, exquisitely beautiful. … And so fleeting. 🙂
Wonderful!! Beautiful Colorado Wild! Thanks TJ
🙂
So glad for you & everyone in Colorado
All who received this moisture are grateful!
Bring on the moisture!
We’re already ready for more. 🙂
We received, overall from early Sunday to early Monday morning – 2″ or so here – but, again, I live in Colorado so I don’t worry too much about ‘gauging inches’ because, usually! my answer is, “Hard to tell – I have bare ground [here] but a 4′ drift over [there]. LOL But yesss! WE got SNOW, moisture, etc., for drought and fire parched lands! YAY!!!!
That’s so true about trying to measure it when it’s completely different from sun to shade, north-facing/south-facing slopes, etc.! Glad you also got snow on the eastern side of the state!
THAT is a great sight, TJ! So glad for you and Disappointment Valley! 😊
Wish ya’ll had also gotten some?! I heard from a number of friends “down south” that you guys got only a “skiff” or a “dusting.” So wild. We all need moisture so badly. We’re so grateful here!
