With mustangs like Spirit taking advantage of the dense, junglelike cover in Spring Creek Basin, it’s a wonder we ever find them at all.

We’ve worked awfully hard to make it so. And we have a stellar herd manager in Mike Jensen. My heart aches for the horses who’ve lost their freedom.
