Handsome Tenaz is shedding his winter coat for his spring sleekness. We definitely have more daylight to hasten that shedding, but that ol’ spring wind still has a bit of a chill to it. Warmer days aren’t far away.
Oh, yes, I think so. I’ve found lots of places where they horses have rolled and left bits of hair. And they like to use bits of juniper and pinon branches and stobs to scratch itchy places … like Hollywood a few blog posts back. π

Exactly! Some of the horses are already getting sleek … and some still look a bit like wooly bison. π
