I really don’t know!? A few of the horses have short manes this year – like they were “pulled” for a show – and a couple have very short tails. A foal nibbling might be an answer, but most of the bands where this occurs don’t have foals this year, and I don’t know how they would be so very even! Could be the bugs, and the horses rubbing/itching on tree limbs/trunks … but still, very even? If anyone has any ideas – or has even observed it to know for sure, I’d love to know!
Wow! Love the Mohawk mane!
Loving the “do!” Storm was already cool…but he just turned “cool” up a notch with that look! 😊
How does a wild one gain a mohawk?
