Comanche; McKenna Peak, Temple Butte

Comanche, like the rest of us, is waiting for greenup.

Some moisture fell in Disappointment Valley in the form of blowing snow. Mostly, it blew on through. We’re not in the path of the big storm, and we’re glad for the little bit of wetness that we got.

Comanche is the picture of handsomeness! We probably got your blowing snow, TJ – we’re just stockpiling it for you! Come summer, all of that snow will return to you in meltwater.

Ha. I saw a pic of a wreck on 160 on the Denver news last night, and I wondered where all the snow came from! Zowie. We got a whopping 0.10 inch of moisture (snow that melted instantly) … and I wonder how much blew right past the gauge. πŸ™‚ But it’s something!
