A little o’ this …

Rain and rainbow over Disappointment Valley.

Lower Disappointment Valley got some rain. As a friend (you know who you are!) says, it was a bit of a toad gagger!

Hopefully Spring Creek Basin got a dose of the moisture. We could use some puddles.

Toad gagger, huh? My family has had lots of little quips like that! Sadly, while you are hoping & praying for rain – I’m trying to stem the water running down the back of my field & keep the “sludge” it brings with it from going into my neighbor’s pond! Its a challenge. Rain here the past 3 days & I’m feeling more today! Hope your prayers are answered.

And then some. πŸ™‚ Unfortunately, most of it ran off … but we’re optimistic …!

Yeah, glad for moisture! Even if it makes a mess!

πŸ™‚ And I’m so glad for you and the ponies, TJ! We’ve been “high and dry” as usual, but I’m glad there’s rain somewhere. Heard there was a new fire north of Dolores – the Plateau Fire I think they said. All I can say is 😦 .

Make that two fires – the West Guard and Plateau fires. Mercy. We need rain, not lightning!

I saw about the Plateau Fire. 😦 I’ve called in more smoke reports here, too. Fortunately, we got that crazy rain, so hopefully things are a little damp. Summer is not over.
