Check out Kwana’s right ear. π
Yeah … our mustangs are sooooooooooo starving, and our range is soooooooooo destroyed.
Note No. 1: Extreme sarcasm above.
Note No. 2: That’s native galleta and grama grass he’s eating – and a lot of it.
See tomorrow’s pic for the long view.
Thanks for this TJ.
Let’s keep shouting.
Yup – this kind of picture & PROOF should certainly be shouted!!
Looking Good!
I will add my “amen!” And I love Kwana’s cocked ear – must be something out there! Can’t wait to see what it is tomorrow!
Do you see the little bird on the ground in front of Kwana? He’s watching it … that’s what his ear is cocked at. π It was apparently looking for seeds knocked off from the grasses he was eating. The LBBs – little brown birds?! – are following the horses like crazy these days.
Thanks TJ! And we too have noticed those little guys flocking around the horse’s feet “like crazy.” I like your theory as to why – we were wondering what they were doing. I am just amazed at how they stay out of the way of those mustang hooves as the horses amble around grazing! Those birds look like a type of finch.
Sometimes the birds perch on the horses’ backs, too. π It’s fun to see the way wildlife helps each other!
The old “symbiotic relationship” thing from my biology classes! π
