Got action?

Corazon

This brings to mind the insane people who would cause a horse pain in order to achieve maximum action – all in pursuit of a bit of ribbon. Here, Corazon shows off his high-steppin’ ability – naturally. The crazy thing is that Saddlebreds and Tennessee Walking Horses have that natural ability. It’s only humans who would overly and unnaturally exaggerate it.

You bet!, says Corazón… 🙂 Gorgeous, and your words are so true, TJ.
“For what the horse does under compulsion… is done without understanding, and there is no beauty in it either, any more than if one should whip and spur a dancer.” (Xenophon (allegedly))

He looks like a war horse. No doubt dressage took the movement of stallions to heart to create the advances and defenses one sees in the ring. So much more impressive, when done naturally.

Let them be natural! I didn’t know this, TJ, but I’m not surprised. Human beings always want to mess with things for their own benefit. Corazon looks so good “steppin’ out” naturally. Great pic!
