You know the saying about putting your wishes out to the universe?
The answer, in this case, is the bay boy on the left: Poco. 🙂
This was the first sighting I’ve had of him for a while, which isn’t unusual through the winter (what winter). Happy is my heart to see the elder fellow with young Killian.

You’re kidding, right? You pulled this up from the archives? I can’t believe he showed face, after we were just talking about him being the only horse of the Spring Creek Basin herd I haven’t seen! He is gorgeous–you know I love those bay boyz :-).

Well, now you’ve done it! We’re both grinning from ear-to-ear! How absolutely wonderful to see the old guy – maybe having a younger buddy is helping Poco hang in, ya think?! 🙂
Love to see the elders mentoring the younger boys. No telling how long they’ll stay together because the youngsters like to wander, but I did like to see them together – and it’s probably WHY I saw Poco at all!
