Thank you all for your support of our Spring Creek Basin mustangs!

I am in need of a bit of a break from blogging. Not long, I hope.

You have been so dedicated to these wild friends of ours. I appreciate what you have done. Keeping everyone informed abot what is happening in the Spring Creek Basin. Thanks. You deserve a break. I hope it is not a long one though I will miss your pictures and comments.

Enjoy your break (even though I will miss my weekly read!). I am a reader from Germany who loves your photos and stories. You are doing an awesome job on communicating the beauty of those horses and their right to live a free life. Thank you for all you are doing to support the mustangs and their heritage.

It’s a good thing to give yourself some “away time.” Everyone needs to recharge, emotionally, mentally and physically every now and then, most especially if they do the kind of work you do. With everything on your plate these days, please take whatever time you need. We understand. 🙂

Are you ever coming back? I personally miss reading about the horses a lot, and i’m sure everyone else does too. Please don’t forget about us and this blog, and don’t think no one is listening when you post, because we are and we appreciate it.

Yes, and thank you for thinking about the horses. I spend as much time with them as ever, and being with them just for the sake of sharing the space they allow me to share is medicine for my soul. We ended up getting a fair amount of rain in Disappointment Valley, which caused the grasses to explode with growth and the ponds to fill. The horses are doing amazingly well. Fall is in full swing, and it’s golden here, from the grasses to the cottonwoods to the delicious light. The horses are fuzzy and radiant. I’ve been thinking about posting again; thank you for the reminder and for keeping our mustangs in your thoughts. 🙂

TJ, I didn’t find your blog until you were already on Hiatus. But I have enjoyed the pictures and comments that you have on here. I’m a new fan of your work and I hope that you continue to post after you’ve rested enough.

I’m so happy to here your going out to the basin. I have been waiting anxiously for updates on the horses (Ravens’ foal) Your photos and narrative prove their is so much more to these wild ones then just eating and taking up space. Take care, and I hope to see new post. Soon? No pressure. 🙂

Unfortunately, Raven lost her foal this year. 😦

Oh, that makes me sad. She is such a good mom. I hope Skywalker is staying close to her.
