Flash, focused

30 04 2026

Flash’s band is behind him, to the left. He was focused in the direction he’s looking. … Even when they moved up the hill to the left, grazing as they went, he continued to look in that direction. I went higher … and looked and looked. I couldn’t see any other horses, or a coyote, or anything. He was calm, but every now and then, he’d look back in that direction. Eventually (20 minutes later?), sure enough, a bachelor appeared from around the hill in the distance. The wild ones know!

Just a wider scene. A phone is handy for wide scenes. šŸ™‚ Love those clouds.

It’s amazing how those mustangs are so tuned in to what’s going on around them…even far away! Especially those ever vigilant stallions looking out for their “families.” Pretty photos, TJ.

When I read your caption I was thinking the same thing as Sue. Amazing, vigilant, tuned in.

I love seeing the wider scene. The land is beautiful. Open, no buildings, serene.
