In the wind.

It’s *always* windy in the spring in Southwest Colorado. … I’ve heard that about many locations in the West, so it’s not just here. And it’s not just this year. When we’re counting every drop of moisture, it’s as-usual hard to abide the wind, especially after nice rain events (which are few and far between this year, especially).

The mustangs make the most of it, of course, and it DOES keep the buggies away.

Not a wind fan either, TJ ( see what I did there – “wind fan” πŸ˜„). It IS hard to watch the winds come in right behind those precious rains and suck out every drop we’ve gained. Rain last night here…but 30 mph winds predicted for today.😬

Ha – yes! It gave me just the chortle I needed after a long day. πŸ™‚ It was wet earlier (tiny bit of rain overnight, then a few waves of graupel to keep things interesting) … but now wind-dried.
