Summer March

4 03 2026

Looks like a summer pic, right? This was the evening before the eclipse. That’s Rowan.

Also crazy? While the sunshine flowed over the landscape from the clear southwestern, western and northwestern sky, total cloud cover everywhere else prevent us from seeing the moonRISE that night!

Forecasters are trying to cheer us (Coloradans) up with an optimistic snow forecast by/before March 16. Meanwhile, mostly, partly lotsa sunshine. At least it’s not all 60-degree temps. πŸ™‚

We shouldn’t cheer up too soon, TJ. You know how these forecasts go. 😐 I do hope they’re right but the batting average is awful. Been a tough winter…or actually been a tough lack thereof.

I DO know how these forecasts go … and I remain optimistic. What else is there? :/ It most definitely has been a very “tough lack thereof.” C’mon, RAIN! πŸ™‚

You’re right, TJ – ” what else is there.”

This would be a really hard puzzle! I guess we all need to do a rain dance to get any moisture out your way!

It WOULD be hard, wouldn’t it? Unless you look real close, it’s hard to tell even which direction she’s walking. πŸ™‚ Yay for rain dances, snow dances, ANY kind of dancing! πŸ™‚
