Oh, Buckeye. What a handsome wild stallion you are, even covered in mud. 🙂

There wasn’t much sunshine on the first day of the year, but Buckeye sure looks good in the brief glimpse of it at the end of the day!

I was thinking about you, Karen, while I was out there with the band. He’s sort of watching his mares, but he’s also watching deer on a steep hillside not far away. I took some pix that might find their way to the blog in the near future of deer that were HARD to see. Talk about a puzzle! 🙂
