Closest critters

A little “family” of pronghorns …

… amid a bigger group! And these weren’t all of them. After the rains, they have plenty of roadside puddles (some of them decently large!) to drink from without ranging too far!

I love your pronghorn photos, TJ! And your resident herd looks to be very sleek and healthy. What a gorgeous bunch!

I saw them again yesterday, in the exact same area, which makes me even more confident that they’re sticking around because of the new (and likely not long-lasting) water sources there along the road. I so love that they’re here … and protected. πŸ™‚

And their markings actually are somewhat unique … even as they look nearly identical! They’re truly fascinating critters. πŸ™‚

Those guys have been around here a lot for the past two years. I love seeing them.
