This pic of Dundee was taken before the rain. She was very calm, almost napping, watching some drama below between a couple of stallions. It makes you wonder what the mares are actually thinking when they watch the boys. … And most boys think *girls* are dramatic. 😉

Ha. Those mares are a calming influence! Dundee’s colors perfectly match the background rimrock; she’s very fashionably color-coordinated!
That’s what initially drew me to the scene and photographing her! The complementary colors of the sunlit rimrocks and her own rich color. 🙂
