Juniper cliffs

14 05 2025

If the cliffy ridges beyond Juniper look familiar, it’s because you saw them recently as the full moon rose above them. The moon rose actually just a tiny bit to the left of what’s pictured here, which is looking pretty directly southeastish. (In case you haven’t noticed, every direction out here is a bit of an “ish”! I suppose that’s true of any/every land this vast.)

Juniper is pretty perched on top of that ridge, and I always love a bit of rimrock. Love this photo, TJ!

That’s a great background, but the horses have to be in certain places to even try to include it. I’m always willing to try to “capture” them there! πŸ˜‰

Juniper is a mare. πŸ™‚ She’s very dignified, so you could call her a very handsome lady, indeed!

There’s nothing ‘ish’ about your photos ! The full moon photo was spectacular ! Colder and possible precip here off and on. Hope the basin is seeing the same (ish) !

Ha! I like to use “ish” a lot. πŸ™‚ Definitely cooler (not sure whether it got to freezing as the advisory called for!?), and still great storm clouds and light! No actually precip hitting the ground, but we have better chances Sunday and/or Monday, I think?
