Flash and his mares in the wind at last lovely light.
Days are getting noticeably longer. We could do without the ultra-drying wind.
Oh, and the temp when I took this, yesterday, was at least 61 degrees Fahrenheit. In January. In Colorado.
We could do with a lot more snow. π
Mr. Flash. Handsome band stallion. Still can’t believe he earned that status so quickly in his young life! And you’re right, TJ – it’s too windy, too dry, and too warm. We are heading for a summer of disaster if this trend cannot be reversed…and soon.
I know, right? It’s all about the timing, I guess. The mares went through a number of other young stallions before settling β and reuniting β with Flash. And he seems to be keeping them in line, and they don’t seem to mind him (much). They are doing a fair bit of moving, but that’s OK, too.
