Trickle-wide creek

Alegre and Kestrel drinking from the trickle that is Spring Creek in the eastern part of Spring Creek Basin on Christmas Day.

At least if we don’t have much snow, the water isn’t all frozen.

Ha. Spring Trickle Basin. 😁 Even so, that little ribbon of water is precious beyond words! I just really like this photo, TJ. Must be the subdued light illuminating everything – rocks, water and beautiful, fuzzied Alegre and Kestrel. They are so gorgeous in this picture!

So valuable, even that little trickle of clear, free-running water. It’s not above ground the whole length of the creek, for sure, but the horses *for sure* know where to find the liquid goodness!

Water IS precious, and our mustangs are precious. 🙂 It’s not an easy life, but it’s a wild and free life!

I love to see the horses drinking, and it’s to their credit that they allow me the privilege. 🙂
