Lovely lady Rowan, glowing gold under the rising, almost-full beaver supermoon.
The gorgeousity of the natural world comes in SO many different forms. Some obvious and spectacular; some subtle and stunning.
In Spring Creek Basin, we’re blessed to have gorgeousity in all directions … and even in the great vault of heaven over Earth.
Tonight is actually the full moon; the pic was taken last night, and the sky was clear blue and pink alpenglow pastels within probably about half an hour after I first spotted the curve of it rising over the northeastern basin horizon. It always ends up looking black in the images because the moon is SO bright and beautiful.
Get out and enjoy it. 🙂
Spring Creek Basin Mustangs 
Another super moon coming. Thank you for taking its “portrait” for us to see. And for making this posting a double treat with a pic of beautiful Rowan! What a perfect, gorgeous ‘do she has! She must have a comb stashed somewhere. 😁
I saw them late from very far across the basin, and it took me a while to get to them. I was happy Rowan posed for me while the others quietly grazed around us! 🙂 Isn’t it funny how some of them are perfectly coiffed, and others have those amazing braids?!

I’ve noticed a lot of our Sand Wash Basin-descended mustangs have some waves to their locks. Pretty cool! 🙂

Agreed! Sometimes I get really sharp, clear pix of the moon … and sometimes … not?! Ha. I never remember my settings, so I try a variety. 😉 Gorgeousity! It fits so many places and critters here!
