Not a usual pose, but I love the light shining through Dundee’s eye as she looks back at another band moving through the pinon and juniper trees in Spring Creek Basin’s north hills. And also the bit of dead juniper at upper right that looks like a monarch butterfly. πŸ™‚

I love that light on Dundee too, TJ. Not only her glowing eyeball but all those exquisite backlit whiskers! This photo has so many interesting textures and variations of light and shadow.

You know how I adore backlighting for showing off “all those exquisite backlit whiskers” and everything else! πŸ™‚

Love the soft light through the trees when the mustangs graze among the pinon-juniper. πŸ™‚
