Did someone say cooler temps and rain?
Gaia and her bandmates are tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiired of the heat and dry. (Sure, OK, that’s me dropping my human thinking and emotions onto them, but c’mon, we are ALL tired of the heat and the dry!)
Starting today, our forecast looks pretty good in the temperature and rain departments. Crossing fingers and hooves.
Spring Creek Basin Mustangs 
At this moment we have a travel advisory because of the flooding!
Its been raining for several days – my dentist appt was cancelled because employees lived in a flood zone!
I’d be glad to send you a little rain at this point.
We’d be glad to take some of your rain – at any point. 🙂 Cooler today, but we didn’t see any of the forecast rain.

So tired! I’m ready for Fall. These hot temps need to go now!!
I’m praying for rain, but in small doses. We don’t need mud slides in the burn scar.

She is, and they are. 🙂 Agreed about the light rain. Here in the Southwest, we like what the Navajo – Diné – call female rain: soft, gentle, nourishing. I hope you get some of that in California!
I love this photo, TJ! A mustang huddle – what must they be discussing? 😁 Rain here yesterday evening and it’s overcast this morning! Maybe – finally – some monsoon action coming our way. The forecast looks good…but we’ve seen “good” forecasts before. Hope this moisture is reaching you too!
