Another pic – of Skywalker this time – that deserved to be seen, though our skies very thankfully are no longer as smoky.
He was waiting around the edges for his turn at the water trough when he struck this handsome pose with Spring Creek canyon’s rimrocks in the background.
The smoke did make for some interesting light, but I think I’m not alone in preferring our clear blue skies.

🥰 That IS a handsome pose by our beautiful Skywalker boy! Even in the smokiness he is a striking figure.
The smoky background lends a lot more “drama” to a portrait shot. 🙂 I’m glad our skies cleared for the last week (still some haziness out there), but I think we’re going to be bad again: big fired started just outside Nucla yesterday.
Oh my gosh, TJ! Another fire?! We just had the one south of Norwood and now this. We need rain so badly.
Very interesting picture, but I prefer blue skies also!
Wide blue skies and big, puffy clouds! Or – better yet – some rain clouds! 🙂
