It’s getting pretty warm out, and heat waves distort long views. But they can’t detract from simple beauty, here, featuring Maiku and Corazon.
We also get some nice rain-promise clouds in the afternoons sometimes … but they haven’t dropped any rain on us.

Ugh. This dryness has to end. We can see the smoke from the fire on Haycamp Mesa (?) from here.
Yeah, TJ. The fire is on Haycamp, rapidly burning some of our favorite areas along the rim of Lost Canyon. Some good ATV roads in there. 🥺
Oh guys – on the East Coast? Its been 3 days without rain – finally the ground is beginning to dry up some. but supposed to rain later & tonight , I guess. Not the springs all over my place.

My folks in Texas are getting crazy rain this year. They were horribly dry the last couple of years. … I wish we could all get just the right amount. …

Sadly, we have nothing in the forecast but sunshine, sunshine and more sunshine – and wind. Because we always have wind! 😄
