These little butterflies are everywhere lately, trying to find our few wildflowers, doing their best to further the pollination in this very dry spring. I didn’t realize I’d caught the butterfly with Juniper until I saw the image on my computer later. 🙂 Both bright spots of goodness!

Speaking of bright spots, we got a nice drizzle of rain yesterday! I’d love to have more (you know I always want *more rain*!), but at least this bit of moisture will help our grasses and other vegetation, not to mention those water catchments.
There are so few butterflies or moths anymore. I used to have sphinx moths on my bee balm, but havent seen any for a couple years. They were so cute – the size of hummers & could be mistaken for them. Very few Monarchs or others.
We have a variety of little butterflies and moths. I couldn’t tell you the names of any of them.
Love the little spot of color! Glad for the drizzle!
Me, too!!!
I can’t believe I forgot to wish my mom and all moms a happy Mother’s Day! At least it’s a good Mother’s Day pic. 😍 My Internet got knocked out the other day, and while I have posts scheduled, I managed to forget about days and dates. I did remember to send my mom flowers. 🥰
*Happy Mother’s Day*!!!
I love those kind of surprises!
I couldn’t figure out what it was at first and almost deleted the pic! 😄
What a nice surprise! The horse and the butterfly (stealing from Ann and Nancy Wilson’s “Dog and the Butterfly”). I like your version, TJ.
I wish its wings were open in that moment, but I’ll take it. 😊
