Piedra follows a band mate across runoff from an arroyo seep where she and her band and another band drank before heading up to graze on a little bench above the arroyo.
We should have rain by the time you read this post this morning!
Happy Easter. 🙂
Happy Easter, TJ! The gift of water – always wonderful to see that!
I wish I could report that – like last time – it WAS actually raining and the forecast was accurate … but alas, it’s not raining, and the forecast (“100%” chance!) isn’t accurate. We have wind, wind and more wind. The forecast still shows rain … I hope it’s at least partially accurate. I’m glad we have those seeps; the horses are taking advantage, for sure.
Same here, TJ. Supposedly 80 percent chance turned into zilcho and wind. Who’s making these predictions anyway?!
We finally ended up getting 0.04 inch worth of drizzle, which was very good. 🙂 Still lots of wind, though. I’m sorry ya’ll didn’t get anything!
It’s so good to see the water. Piedra and her band must love it 🥰

I’m sure they love any water. In my human form, I greedily want more for them. 🙂
Happy Easter! So glad for the water! Piedra is another pretty gal!
Happy Easter, Karen. 🙂 Piedra definitely is a wise, pretty girl. 🙂
