Lovely Seneca on another quiet, peaceful, beautiful evening in Spring Creek Basin. We’ve had a run of these ordinarily extraordinary days – that also happen to be very, mostly dry. Starting today, though, we have moisture in the forecast – for the next several days! If we get even a fraction of the forecast rain, snow or both, I’ll be doing cartwheels (or what passes for cartwheels at my age). 🙂
Spring Creek Basin Mustangs 
Not sure if this means anything – but have two robins in my yard this morning. Have to add – they have been wrong before!!
We’ve had robins at least a couple of months, and other birds have been singing for at least the last month and a half. Too warm, too dry, and everything slightly (!?) out of whack. Bring on the snow!
Yeah – there is a really good chance for more snow here – its only March! I remember snow in May years ago.
March typically is the “wettest month” in Colorado. We definitely need that to hold true this year … whether it’s rain or snow (or both).
We’re having a bit of rain this morning and we’ll take it! Hopefully you and the ponies are included, TJ! And Seneca is always a vision of beauty and grace, a Spring Creek Basin icon.
Yay! That’s such great news! … What is wrong with the radar this winter? It’s often *not right*, but this winter, I think it’s far more wrong than usual (!?). When it wasn’t raining yesterday, the radar showed rain. Rain this morning – and I read your comment – no corresponding green blobs. I guess we just have to laugh at it, but sheesh. We did get a five-, 10-minute drizzle this morning. The deer didn’t mind and moseyed in and out of the yard as usual. At least THEY seem to be keeping to their annual patterns. 🙂

We got a nice little drizzle this morning. Hope it continues for the next several days! One thing I have NOT “complained” about this winter is mud (we haven’t had much of it). 😉 I’d really like to have some mud!

🙂 Exactly so! We’ve had a teeny bit of drizzle and snow-ish-type stuff today. Just damp, but we’re looking forward to more! Hope you get some of this influx!
