In very good news, we got half an inch of nicely wet snow yesterday morning. In other news, our view didn’t change much from the above-pictured visit with Corazon, taken a couple of days ago, because the snow melted very quickly. In fact, by afternoon, with sunshine and continuously howling winds, the ground and roads were dry again.
A little moisture is very welcome.
Your rain is HERE! Pouring off & on – ground feels like the top layer is sliding off. Can you tell – I would be happy if you had the rain? This is the weirdest “winter” I’ve ever seen in all my life.
Yes, winter seems to be crazy all around. Already 90 in Texas (at least). We still need a lot more winter – or at least the snow … though I wouldn’t be unhappy with rain, too/either (!).
Love those pintos! Glad for the moisture! Hope a lot more is on the way soon!
Fortunately, we have some moisture days showing up in the forecast. We’ll keep our fingers crossed!
So, so glad you got some snow, TJ! We had very little to none, just enough to dampen things. Better than nothing! Hoping we all get more at some point.
Isn’t that crazy that we got some moisture out of this “storm” and you guys got none?! Damp IS better than nothing. … Today we were back to raising dust on the road. Ha. Too crazy. Yes, hoping for more!
I’m so happy you got some legit moisture.
Me, too! Sounds like you guys got skunked again. 😦
We did. The wind SUCKED moisture out of the ground. I took Teddy out yesterday for a saunter. 50 mph gusts.
Sauntering – or even standing upright – canNOT be easy in 50 mph winds!
Gusts. We got a break from time to time…🤣💨
