Flash was grazing along with a couple of bands recently, and when there was a bit of a scuffle between the bands (kind of a wild horse version of “Moooommmm, he’s too close to me!”), Flash went up on a little ridge out of the way. He was clearly caught in the act of nibbling, and I love the little bouquet of snakeweed still in his mouth.
My, what a handsome FLASHY boy he is!β€οΈ
Well named, as it turns out. π
Great looking dude!
I think so, too. π
“Boquet” is the word, TJ. That is the exact thought I had when I saw that photo – Flash is “taking flowers” to a love interest. π And he is a catch!
He IS a catch, but alas, no new girl yet (in fact, he was with another young bachelor today).
If I hadnβt read your story of what really happened, Iβd guess that Flash in that handsome pose was bringing a bouquet to a lady πΊπLOL!

Ha – I wish. π
Handsome guy!!!
Crazy that in another couple of years, you’ll never know he was a pinto. π
He’s wonderful. What an expressive lovely guy! OH, here… A seasonal pond at the Refuge
Yeah – look at that crazy-thick salt crust! Glad to see a little lingering snow!
Excellent capture of the beauty of form, grace, style(?). I’m working on a project and for research did searches of ‘various sites’ sellin horses – some that are ‘marketed as excellent’ etc., just look, to my (non-expert!) eye like deformities bred in for human short-term desires – on some sites – and yet, all I gotta do is look at the pics of my client, or log in here and look at your pics and I think, “YES! That’s HORSE! In all their beauty” – sigh -your photo shares/stories help heal my heart after long week/month, etc. Thank you!
It doesn’t get much more real than mustangs. π
