Silly snorter

18 01 2024

I’ll have more dignified pix of Reya in the near future, but I’m posting this one because, although she’s known me since she was a weanling (which was a year or 17 ago), she’s the only horse in Spring Creek Basin who continues to blow at me. It *still* makes me laugh, which, I’m sure, is NOT the reaction she’s going for (if she were actually “going for” a reaction). πŸ™‚

😁 I’m sure “blowing at you” is undoubtedly a gesture of affection!

That makes me laugh, but I doubt it would make HER laugh (!). πŸ™‚ She’s a stinker. Wild girl, for sure. πŸ™‚

Our little doggies Grayson and Benji snort at me repeatedly when they’re super excited to snuggle and burrow into me.

What a cute pinto gal she is! Maybe it’s her way of saying hello to you!

“I’m watching you,” she’s saying. “Don’t get too comfortable, gals (other mares). You never know how long THAT one is going to hang out making human noises and such. One day, things *could* get CRAZY!” Ha ha. I do love her. πŸ™‚ Whatever else, I think we have an understanding. She’s wild, and I would never change that!
