Chipeta looks so healthy, sleek, and pretty! Life in Spring Creek Basin seems to suit her very well. 😊 And yes. Enough with the lightening already – let’s have some rain!

If we can have some rain that actually falls – consistently – over the basin, maybe we can get some late-season greenup and some more water to bolster catchments, and then we’ll be happy and relieved and grateful. 🙂 For now … we’re still hoping and wishing and waiting!

Ha – well-described, those washes! We just got a toad-gagger of a rain! Faint pause … now another wave. Wow. We needed this. I hope our flooding is minimal … and that the rain puts out any fires started by any lightning strikes!
