We got rain. 🙂 Just a teeny little bit, but it was enough to dampen the dust and add water to the catchment tanks.
Before that, Gaia looked about as tired of the heat and dry as the rest of us two-legged critters.

Thank you! We narrowly missed some more rain this afternoon. It did spawn a couple of lightning-strike fires, but firefighters from various agencies were johnny-on-the-spot. 🙂
That’s good; we got some rain here in Maryland that would have been an excellent amount to share.
Did you get some of that terrible flooding … was it a few weeks or a month or so ago? Thank you for the wishes; we’d sure love a share of some really good, soaking rain! 🙂

Gosh, come ON! An intense little storm went south to north across at least the eastern part of the basin this afternoon. It crossed the Disappointment Road in just a short section – really crazy. But I hope a wider swath of the basin got rain!
Every little bit of moisture counts! Hoping for a lot more!

We got a tiny bit, too. And cooler temps. We walked our “normal” walk today for the first time this summer. We were happy. 💚
