
This photo of Chipeta wasn’t taken all that long ago, but that snow in the distance is currently doing a lot of rushing and rolling and flowing as muddy water in area creeks and arroyos. … And that area in the distance isn’t nearly as white as it was.

Precious Chipeta…and precious water. All of our white has transformed into liquid too and now we are seeing the first green things. Wonderful.
Wild, right? We haven’t had snow on the ground for quite a while (that didn’t melt almost immediately), but spring has sprung very quickly, it seems. Trees definitely are budding!
