Sand dropseed is done with its seeding, but there’s still green close to the ground that the horses eagerly search for and clip neatly with their teeth. It’s all good and welcome in these golden days of autumn.

Who gets it first? Munching together!
I love to see them grazing with their heads together; they always seem so content in the moment. … Then they drift away, but that moment of contentedness, together, seems to stay with them. 🙂

They were very intent on their grazing – very calm, but they didn’t take many breaks to wonder about the two-legged in their midst. 😉

We’re getting some snow now, not a whole lot but enough to give moisture to the ground and to make it look very pretty. It doesn’t seem that you’ve had that yet.
