Summer is starting its slow slide toward fall. Sunflowers are plentiful, adding bright snippets of color to our green basin. Of course, we think GREEN is a color to be celebrated, over the drab brown from before the monsoons came, but yellow is pretty nice, too!
I am happy with green and yellow, rain and coming darkness.
A last little hurrah before fall. π
Sunflowers are Mother Earth’s π
I love that! And totally agree! π
Love sunflowers and fall colors. Green is best always.
Agree – with it all. π
Lovely to see!

Indeed!
My world down here is a sea of yellow. Sunflowers, chamisa (rabbit brush), yellow clover. It’s wonderful. August is Colorado bee flower, the world gets a shot of purple/pink, but I like this because it means fall isn’t far away and then (be still my heart) snow.
We don’t get bee flower here (too low?), but our world has lots of spots of bright yellow these days, too! Sunflowers, snakeweed, rabbitbrush (chamisa!), clover along the highways. I love fall. π
I love fall, too. 85% for its own sake, 100% because I like snow.
So well said! π Ha – I love that!
Some nice Autumn light on those cheerful sunflowers. Beautiful, TJ.
I am SO ready for the autumn light! Been looking forward to it all year. π
