The good green that is greasewood

12 05 2021

Thank goodness we have greasewood to make our world green. We do have other green bits currently, which also is very, very good.

Chipeta demonstrates the dreamy way to take advantage of the green.

Is she an older mare? Looks a little thinner than most.

She’s in her mid-teens and not too thin. She’s had a few foals, but, fortunately, none in the last several years.

Thanks for the reply TJ – good that she doesnt have to care for a foal at this point – the forage can go directly to HER! The only reason I questioned was most of the horses you photograph look VERY well fed! What a good life she has had and is having being in a place where shes safe. So many are not.

She really looks like she’s in β€œ7th heaven” munching on the green greasewood.πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
