Reya often is happy to help me out by posing attentively with spectacular Spring Creek Basin icons McKenna Peak (near) and Temple Butte (farther) in the background. Well, “happy” may not be quiiiiiiiite the right word, but her (brief) attentiveness means she IS rather cooperative. π
What you fabulous readers don’t see is the-pic-taken-a-few-seconds-later …

… when she decides that she’d rather find something to eat than listen to me blather on about how beautiful she is, blah, blah, blah …

… even half covered in recent mud and giving me the butt view. π
These pix were taken 15 seconds apart, at 6:19:32, at 6:19:39 and at 6:19:47.
See ya!
Love those Pintos!
π !
Are you sure she wasn’t just startled at the papparazzi catching her after her mud bath? ‘WHAAAAaaaaTTTT???’, ‘Oh hell no’ and then ‘See Ya!’
Ha! But no. I was actually looking for another band at that seep, which is out of sight of a road. These horses were there instead, so I walked back across the top of the ridge to get a longer view, then walked back down as the horses were walking the trail back to where I was going anyway. I caught them about midway as they were moseying, grazing, moseying. The background was fabulous, of course, so when Reya stopped to eyeball me, I snapped her pic. But she’s heard it all before and didn’t think she had time for more compliments, so off she went, continuing on her way. π
That is great!
Itβs like sheβs dipped in chocolate !! What beautiful colors in that first shot π
