This is no April Fools’ joke: Two nights ago, my little external hard drive fell to the floor from my laptop and pulled out the cord. … And then it wouldn’t work when I plugged it back in.
Fortunately, I mostly back up files to another drive, but because I have a lot of images and shoot often, when I DO back up files, it takes a while to copy them, which in turn makes me procrastinate doing it.
Thanks to a couple of mustang advocates who read this very blog, I have leads on good local tech people (thank you!!). Hopefully, my drive needs just a tweak and a twitch to nudge it back to goodness. … And/or I’ll make more visits to the ponies and get more new images to share.
Win/win (but I’d really like to have those files back!).
Keep your collective fingers crossed for me, and in the meantime, enjoy some pix ‘n posts that might date back a couple of weeks. Thanks!
I hope you get them back! Technology. Nice pic!
Thanks, Pat!
Maybe MERCURY retrograde is still happening… TJ sending you some healing vibes for your technology!!
I don’t know what that means, but thank you for the healing vibes! π
Hope you get your files back. What a great picture.
Thanks, Karen! I know you love those pintos! π
Late to get to your blog today, TJ. Still keeping my fingers crossed that your hard drive will survive its surgery! And while I’m here – how gorgeous is that photo of Corazon peeking through those perfect “locks!”
