Some good news on the 416 Fire front from The Durango Herald.
We kept getting little waves of drizzly dribbles during the day.
Sweet. So welcome. So desperately, very welcome.

Spring Creek Basin Mustangs 
We are grateful beyond words for this answer to prayers. Drizzled all night…still drizzling today. 🙂 0.8 inches in the rain gauge and counting – and absolutely wonderful!
Wow – wonderful!!! Only 0.23 inch here, and the ground already is mostly dry (some spots of dampness). I saw that some places in Montezuma and La Plata counties got more than an inch – 0.70 inch nearest the fire. We certainly are grateful!!!!!!!
So great to have moisture for the horses to drink and the grass to grow.
The moisture is a huge relief for sure. To have rain is to have true bliss! 🙂
