He was watching his band. Some stallions keep their mares moving. Hayden seems usually to be trying to keep up with his on-the-go girls.

Spring Creek Basin Mustangs 
TJ, I think your herd is prepared for less of a daily meal for when the snow arrives – after all it is winter in Colorado, right??
It is? Winter? 🙂 How can we tell? Apparently, it’s the fourth driest winter on record for Colorado. Record-keeping aside, it’s horribly dry. Fortunately, because of good management, our herd is doing well in Spring Creek Basin.
🙂 My sentiments too,TJ! Did we misplace winter somewhere? But in spite of it all, the mustangs look good…and well fed! I still think Hayden could play linebacker!
