Mother Nature and Santa teamed up to bring us a truly welcome gift for the winter solstice: snow.
The whole wide local world was under puffy, pillowy snow in the morning. This photo was taken in the late afternoon, after that famous Colorado sunshine had been at work most of the day.
Thank you, thank you for the much-needed moisture.
Hurrah for Colorado! Finally a little dampness. Apparently cold too judging from the fluffy coat on that paint.
Thanks! π Yes, we’ve had the cold … just needed some snow to go with it. Unfortunately, there’s no more in the forecast, but we’ll keep our fingers and hooves crossed.
Grateful for a little moisture! I’m liking the color coordination between pinto and snow dappled landscapes. π
I often think about how color-coordinated the mustangs are with their environment – even as they stand out!
Glad for the snow. Hope for more.
Absolutely. This is a weird “winter” all around. … Thanks for hoping for more snow for us!
Thank you, thank you for keeping me humble. We are all blessed to have moisture for the horses!
