The third rifle season is nearing its end. Hunters already are leaving. “Where are the deer and the elk,” they’re asking. It’s too warm and too dry for them in Disappointment Valley. They’re staying high(er).

Comanche is so handsome. I’m not liking the “too warm” part about this November, but if it keeps the hunters out of the Basin and away from the mustangs, that’s a good thing. 🙂
He is beautiful. They are beautiful (the horses not the hunters!).
