For all the great dads out there – including my very own – happy Father’s Day! The time you spend and the lessons you impart are always remembered.

What a beautiful shot TJ. Father’s Day is always great when dad is still
around. I’m a three time dad and a 5 time grandad…Once again great
photo..you’re an artist. George WD

Hope you had a wonderful day with kids and grandkids??! I wish I could spend more time with my dad (my folks live in Texas), but I always enjoy our visits!

TJ – As you probably know, we’ve always reserved a special place somewhere in our heats for the “bachelors” like this guy among others like Hayden, Tenaz, etc. Would absolutely love to know the “camera settings” etc. that you had for this shot! It’s really very, very good! Another true “art” shot… Maybe an email on the specifics? 😉

P.S. We’re doing OK, but really missing vital members of our family. We know you know what we mean…

I know what you mean. Glad ya’ll are doing all right.

I usually shoot on aperture priority for depth of field and adjust ISO and white balance as needed. Image data says this was taken at f7.1 and 1/1000th second shutter speed. Taken at almost 5:30 p.m., so decent side light. Most of the time, I don’t know what I’ve got until I look through pix on the computer, but sometimes, I see a winner through the viewfinder. This was one of those times. 🙂 He looked awesome against the Colorado-blue sky with the prince’s plume in the foreground.
