Wow! You all have made excellent choices, and for most of the months, a clear winner has emerged. I’m going to list the highest-rated choices in a minute, but let’s talk about September.
The image of Maiku, Spook and Chipeta got the most votes by far, but Grey/Traveler is the clear choice for the cover, so I need your thoughts:

Now, that is a tough one–and I’m thinking if one of those has to be left out, there just aren’t enough months!!
I vote for Seven though, because I don’t see how a picture that beautiful could be left out.
I vote for Seven also. I was really torn between him and Travler for the cover. His picture needs to be used.
I really like the one of Seven. He is such a beautiful horse.

I’ll change to Seven – such peaceful beauty in the golden light of Autumn. But I hope the wonderful energy of Maiku, Spook, and Chapita will be up for consideration next year.

How hard is this decision for most of the commenters! I too love the energy of the first one but Seven does deserve to be it. I do love the other one though and would vote for that if Seven were not there. HA…

Well, TJ, our vote can’t change because we voted for what we thought was the BEST one offered for that month, given we didn’t know who might come up later. We tend to vote not just for the horse “we like,” but the WAY the horse(s) are depicted in your photograph. Seven ABSOLUTELY deserves a place, BUT, the one of Maiku, Spook and Chipeta is special just because it shows MOTION with complete clarity (focus) of the horses!! Both are GREAT! We’d be happy to see either chosen!!! 🙂
My first inclination was to vote for Maiku, Spook and Chipeta because of their infectious energy. Had it been any month other than September, they would have received my vote immediately.
BUT, since it is September, the picture of Seven embodies the colors, majesty, and serenity that September brings. So Seven receives my vote!
i will have to pick seven because he is a very special boy that deserves to be in this calender even if its not on the cover!!
This photo of Seven has to be in the calendar somewhere, it’s such a great shot. My original vote was for Seven and it remains.

Gosh, where have ya’ll been?!?! This blog deserves YOUR comments on a regular basis, not just for the calendar!! This is ONE VERY SPECIAL place to spend your time, really!
