Gemma is officially the fastest-greying foal I’ve seen since I started documenting the herd. She reminds me of a youngster I saw in Sand Wash Basin last fall.
See? Even big sister Terra is less grey than little sister. Like the brothers, these sisters stick close.
Daddy Grey/Traveler, looking handsome as always.
They always think the smallest bushes hide them. π
Mama and her girls.
TJ, approximately when was Gemma born? For whatever reason I can’t remember. And it’s been a while since I’ve seen a photo of Grey up close! Handsome stallion he is. And Terra’s face marking is unusual and very interesting.
On or about April 23 – the birthday of my mare Gem at home (with my parents in Texas). That’s why I named her Gemma! π
She is graying fast and she is beautiful
Love your pictures. I always look foreward to your pictures. We will be going to Oregon to see the mustangs in October. Hope we get some good pictures too.
Daddy’s girl(s), of course!
Lea – hope you have a great visit to see the mustangs in Oregon! Can’t wait to see the pix on your blog! I’d love to get up there someday to see those horses.
