As if we needed another indication that spring is springing (way too) early, the bees are going bizzy-buzzy right now on apricot flowers. (Apricot trees? In the desert? They were planted by long-ago pioneers to the valley.)
The temp hit 82F yesterday. Yowza. Way, way too warm for mid-March. In good news: Yay, BEES!
Wait…what? Blossoms? Already? Oh my gosh, TJ. They are stunning, but way too soon. I’m dreading summer.
Yeah. Ditto. 😦
Beautiful photos TJ 😊
Beautiful … and frightening.
Great pictures of the to early flowers and bees!
It’s as crazy as it is beautiful. … Can’t help but document it, but it does NOT leave me hopeful.
It returned to cold (25-30) past few days, but I saw a female goldfinch(!) the last couple days just sitting on the birdfeeder – eating & resting? Believe its early for that too.
The signs are unmistakable all over, no matter the exact craziness.
